CrossFit Weddington offers a variety of specialty programs for it’s athletes on a weekly basis. Click the links below for more information on each of the programs and scheduling information. Sign-up on the board at CFW as space is limited.

CrossFit Weddington holds up to eleven CrossFit classes on weekdays as well as an intro WOD on Saturday’s at 9am and a group class on Saturday’s at 10am. Click here to view the full crossfit schedule.

Endurance

The CrossFit Endurance class is based on improving your work capacity across all metabolic pathways. We are not like your traditional training program that tries to get in as many miles as possible each week. We focus on form, speed, and incorporate distance to build capacity as needed.

Rowing

The Rowing Class focuses on instruction of proper technique, strategies for implementing rowing in workouts, and a heavy element of training how to succeed on the erg. We also incorporate weight training and bodyweight strength work to maximize the training effect during the class.

Olympic Lifting

The Olympic Lifting class focuses on the Snatch, Clean & Jerk and their related lifts. Learn these complex lifts from Coach Tom Sroka from Team MDUSA. The lifts require a unique combination of strength, flexibility, power, and coordination not found elsewhere in sport. Get fit and strong while you learn these highly technical lifts under the watchful eye of one of our expert coaches.

Pilates

The Pilates program aims to teach our athletes the importance of body awareness and midline stability. Agility, flexibility and stability are all very important in the Crossfit workouts and Pilates will enhance and strengthen these skills. This Pilates class will move quickly, constantly challenging the body through stretching, and strengthening with a strong emphasis on safely learning to use your core.
