Cory Worf - Head Coach and Owner

My background in massage therapy and functional fitness has helped me have the opportunity to work with several professional teams including the Volvo Cannondale Professional Mountain Bike Team, the Schwinn Toyota Professional Mountain Bike Team, the French National Team for Motorcross Des Nations in Brazil, and several professional Motorcross racers including: Jeremy McGrath (AMA Supercross Champion), Jimmy Button, Sebastian Tortelli (FIM World Champion), Ernesto Fonseca (East Coast 125 Champion), Buddy Antunez (Arenacross Champion), and Ryan Hughes. My interest in functional fitness, and peak performance led me in a natural progression to CrossFit in which I was certified in 2008. You can find me often on our gym floor training everyone from our beginning athletes to professional athletes, and everyone in between.

When I’m not coaching my favorite thing is spending time with my three children. They are the most important things in my life.

Pamela Gagnon - Coach

To teach is to inspire. This is why I love coaching. My job as a coach is to provide the tools so athletes can maximize their goals. This requires building a foundation through appropriate technique which will permit the athlete to gain the confidence, strength, and mobility necessary to achieve their individual goals.

There is a secondary and equally important benefit which extends from achieving ones athletic goals. It comes when the athlete recognizes that achieving goals in the gym translate into a healthier lifestyle which can promote confidence in other aspects of their life, whether it be professional or personal.

Through Crossfit, I have made friends and became part of a like-minded community. We are there to support each other, not just during a tough wod, but beyond the gym. We have laughed together, cried together and sweated together. Now that is a community I want to be a part of forever

Carlos Lopez - Coach

I have been a multi sport athlete my entire life. I currently play semi professional football for the Charlotte Cobras in the National Public Safety football league. A league comprised of Police,Fire and Medic. I am veteran of the US Army where I served as an infantry solider, and I am currently a 14 year veteran of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg where for the past 4 years I have served as a K9 handler. I began Crossfit in 2011, and from day one I fell in love with it. For me every WOD is an opportunity to learn about yourself. It’s a chance to be better that you were yesterday, and the opportunity to prepare for tomorrow. My passion for coaching began through youths sports and has continued to grow with every class I that coach. My goal when coaching is to provide instruction and motivation!

I was introduced to CrossFit while playing volleyball for Trinity University in 2007. In 2009 I decided to get serious with the sport and began training competitively and also got my Level I Certification. I started coaching full-time and eventually became co-owner of CrossFit Katy in Katy, TX. I continued to coach and compete until 2017 when I decided to transition away from gym ownership and competitions in favor of fitness for fun and health. I have since moved and found a new home at CrossFit Weddington where I hope to continue spreading my love of fitness and nutrition for many years.

Jordan Falcone - CrossFit & Rowing Coach

I was not an athlete growing up, but found my way into a CrossFit in Connecticut in 2012 and finally found a workout I kept coming back to.  When we relocated to Waxhaw in 2013 CrossFit Weddington was one of the first places I went to.  Moving here and not knowing anyone CFW became our family.   In 2014 I started rowing thanks to a silly little challenge that Cory put up on the board… row 100k meters in the month of November.  The month ended, but I kept rowing, and in November of 2015 a 5k row was posted as the WOD and I ended up breaking the American Record.  As I continued rowing I wanted to learn as much as I could and became certified with Concept2.  Over the past five years I’ve continued to train and compete in rowing both online through Row Series, Row’d Royalty and the Concpet2 Cross Team Challenge, as well as in person when I can find events.  In 2019 I was among the top 8 females worldwide to qualify for the World Urban Games in Budapest.  I had the opportunity to compete in six events over the course of 3 days with some of the fastest men and women around.  It was an incredible experience.

When not rowing, I work in digital marketing in the financial services industry or can be found with my husband or two sons either at the fields for practice or checking out the newest breweries in Charlotte.

Olga Rollins - CrossFit Coach

I have always loved fitness and helping people achieve their goals through different types of fitness’s. I was a Latin dancer for 10+ years and that was my fitness and throughout school I participated in Soccer and Dance. After High school, I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice with a goal of helping others but found my passion more in fitness and accounting. When I found CrossFit back in 2013, it inspired me and brought that team camaraderie I had been missing since retiring my dancing shoes. CrossFit was a supportive community that inspired each other to strive for continuous improvement and achieve their full potential in all aspect of life. When I started CrossFit, I was not only afraid of the barbell but how competitive it looked and now I love it! Outside of CrossFit, I love spending time with my husband David and my four children.
